Being the most recent generation to hit the market, this one comes with the most modern features. Initially hitting the market in 2020, this generation went back to a longer and wider fastback style. This also gave the model more legroom, giving more comfort for rear seat passengers.

Being a short generation, this one only came with two trims at launch. These were the SE, and Limited models. But in 2017, the Eco trim joined the lineup. As the name suggests, this trim was better for drivers who wanted more MPG from their vehicle.

Thanks to this new trim, you can get 35 MPG combined, with the EPA estimating almost 500 miles of range. This model is a nice alternative for those who want range, and can't get a hybrid for whatever reason.

Some of the features you can find in a model from this generation are cruise control, a touchscreen stereo with phone connectivity, hands-free trunk access, and a proximity key/push button start.

Halfway through the 2017 model, the Sport trim was added. This slots between the Eco, and Limited trims. This came with more aggressive styling, as well as a new engine.

The engine you can find is a turbocharged 1.6L I4 that can produce 201 horsepower, and 195 lb-ft of torque. To help further the sport feel, they’ve made the steering wheel a flat-bottom, added red stitching to various places around the interior, and equipped the 18-inch wheels with larger front brakes.

The feature that will make or break the Sport trim for some drivers is the transmission. While a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic with manual shift mode is offered, so is a 6-speed manual. For those who want to feel the most control over their vehicle, this will be a welcomed feature.

For 2018 models, a power sunroof was an optional feature, giving the interior a brighter look. Blind-spot monitoring was also offered this year, while lane change assist is a standard feature.
